Pag-Ibig Housing Fair 2012

The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or more popularly known as Pag-ibig Fund is a government institution that caters to housing loan needs of all Filipino workers. This was established on June 11, 1978 to give the Filipino workers an answer to their need for a national savings program and an affordable shelter financing.

Pag-ibig Fund offers great benefits to its members; for one is its housing loan program. There are a lot of property developers here in the Philippines and Pag-ibig Fund is affiliated to most of it. In Cagayan de Oro City, property developments have emerged in almost all parts of this city. Residential properties are in demand right now as the population here in Cagayan de Oro City increases. With this, Pag-ibig has collaborated to some of the housing developers here in the city and is currently processing their affiliation to other developers.

Having been collaborated to most of the property developers here in this city; Pag-ibig Fund decided to conduct a Housing Fair activity. It’s a one week activity that started last 22nd of October and will end at the 26th. The activity was held at the 4th floor Training Room of the Pag-ibig Fund building. Different property developers of Cagayan de Oro City placed their own booths on the said floor. This housing fair was conducted to cater all the employees and workers that are members of Pag-ibig. It was to show them the things that Pag-ibig offers and also the benefits that they can get from availing this kind of financing scheme.

Kudos to the Pag-ibig Fund office for coming up with such great event. This would surely help those employees who have been long time members of Pag-ibig to finally use it in good investment; and that is for their future. It was a meaningful activity and we are looking forward for more housing fairs to come. Until then!
